Description:
Our team was tasked to name the bar & restaurant of The Wilder Hotel and create an identity that felt cohesive to the hotel but with a distinct brand story. A story than merged history with a modern, yet classic cocktail experience. Like the hotel, Wild Swann draws inspiration from the historic 1883 era building in which it resides.
When we discovered that the building once served as the Swann Abrams hat company during the 1940s, we envisioned the decadently dressed women and tailored gentlemen from that era. To capture this mood, we married rich jewel tones with imagery and copy from vintage Swann postcards and advertisements.
This project won a 2018 AIGA Award and 2019 Silver AAF Addy Award for branding.
