Description:
The Myrtle project was created to promote a broader definition of what vocation means within the Presbyterian church. The larger implications were to expand modern spiritual thinking and encourage inclusivity in order to progress the church community.

The client asked us to develop a brand that congregants could trust as a resource hub for educational materials on various vocation topics.
We developed an identity that was influenced by the floral motif of the myrtle plant and inspired by the blackletter type used in the Gutenberg Bible. The logo draws from a biblical story of four types of spiritual learners and how they are united together in faith.
The project received an honorable mention at the 2019 AAF Addy awards.
